This micro strut can be used for a very small rigger, hydro or mono in the 10-15 inch range.
This can be used with the ose-80048 micro rudder.
We offer this in two sizes, see picture 4.
- 1/8" Prop shaft
- 4mm Prop Shaft
We recommend the following items for these struts.
- For 1/8" prop shaft
Cable: oct-oc098L-24c 1/8" prop shaft with flex cable and teflon.
Stuffing Tube: ks-brass-tb 3/16" K&S stuffing tube. pn# 8129
Liner for stuffing tube: pn# oct-098T-24 (Comes with ose-cable-098L cable)
-For 4mm prop shaft
Cable: ose-cable-1085 or ose-cable-1087
Teflon: Not used.
Stuffing Tube: ks-brass-tb-metric45 : 5mm : pn# #9823
Note: When used with a mono/deep vee we suggest making a small standoff bracket to place the strut off the transom approx 5mm.
