Quicksilver Premium Gear Lube SAE 80W-90 This can be used in place of the MHZ recommended 1928 oil for the MHZ Outboards. Quicksilver engineers oil for marine applications. The high performance gear lube is formulated to provide excellent lubrication and corrosion protection to lower gear components in high-horsepower and high-speed outboards and sterndrives. Additives improve adhesion to gears and internal components to prevent metal-on-metal contact and reduce wear. Special emulsifiers have been added to prevent damage in the event that water enters the lower gear case.
