NXT Z Outdrive

- Specifically designed for scale applications. This comes from a small European manufacturer with no instructions, so this is for a more advanced builder.  This is the largest drive they offer, for installation on models from 50"(1250mm) to 60"(1500mm) Hulls. The shafts are mounted in eight ball bearings. The rotation is transmitted with heat-treated bevel gears with hypoid tooth which can transmit power up to 6 kW. The transmission coefficient from the engine to the propeller is .897 to 1.11. The rotation from the engine to the Z-Drive is transmitted through a flexible shaft (NOT included), plugged in a square hole 6,35mm (1/4"). For correct work of the drive it is recommended to use engines with maximum revolutions per minute( 20,000 rpm).

NOTE: As of 2/23/2023 this has been changed to a 1/4" rear bearing for 1/4" cable and a 11/32 stuffing tube with teflon liner.

- 56mm x 92mm Motor with 15,000-20,000 maximum rpm
- 11/32 stuffing tube.
- 1/4 Square drive cable
- .250 Teflon 

NOTE: Comes in all black. If you are looking for top speed, we suggest a traditional inboard motor with a transom-mounted strut. 

Operation Instructions: This item ships without oil in the case. It is necessary to fill the gearcase with an oil similar to 75W90. Picture 4 shows the area to add oil. We suggest replacing the oil after each day's use.
