Soldering thin wire into connectors with large holes.

When soldering a wire into a connector, it's best to use as little lead solder as possible. This will help to keep the resistance down.

If you have a wire that's thinner than the hole in the connectors, we suggest either doubling over the wire or wrapping the wire with a piece of bare copper wire to the needed thickness. See the above picture. Then use some force to push the wire into the connector end. And then solder.
